Edit: May 8 - I fixed the ending. It's not the Sephiroth/Cloud-looking super angel any more, it's an explosion that the Angels create now. Should make more sense...

Thanks Tom for front page! And thanks Newgrounds for daily first!

Earth is in Hell's grasp as Heaven tries to defend.

Animiation/Art: Jon Schubbe (starogre)
Music: Planet Hell by Nightwish

A bit of Greek Mythology (this movie leans towards greek myths and somewhat my own slight twist to things):
To get into Hell/Underworld, you must give the ferryman a coin known as an obol to cross the River of Styx or else you would be stuck between worlds.

Enjoy.

Good, but...

I really like your Nightwish movies, but there are 2 or 3 things you could improve, and that includes the other movies:
- try not to take the lyrics by the word always. It's ok sometimes, and maybe my feeling about that is mixed with another thing I have to say, but it's still something I noticed.
- don't repeat the same animation over and over. In the lyrics there is a part about that ferryman two or three times. You always use the same animation for that scene. Try to vary it a bit more. Listen to the lyrics for some time, after you decided which song to take. Try to interprete what they say, think of a situation fitting the Lyrics, not by taking them by the word exactly. Plan your work, writing down which verse goes with which animation. Don't repeat the animation.
- And the last thing I would like to say is that your drawings are a bit too comic-like for that serious kind of music.
Your drawings and movies are very good, please keep making them, but also please try to pay a bit attention to my advice.

wtf?

that was the most horrible song ever! it sucked so much bwalls! The flash however was acually pretty good, i thought everything was drawn pretty good and as for the flash matching the song it does which is good, keep up the good work

Gah...whats the title got to do with this?

Question, what does the title, "Gaia Destruction", got to do with this? This is obviously a fight between heaven and hell, but that has nothing to do with 'Gaia' which, if you didn't know, stands for EARTH, not the spiritual plains.

Anyway, the animation was ok, I didn't like the art that much, and I could care less for the song...actually, I hated that song, but thats just me. Also, you didn't really give equal opposition in the animation, most of it was about the angles. Towards the end, there are absolutely no demons around. Its just sorta weird to me.

Anyway, this is a generic FLASH with a cool sounding name that has nothing to do with the actual production.

Nightwish best band out there....

Nightwish is the best band for the flash but you rilly need to work more on your Flash,, Nightwish has the power to add a few points but it cant save you alone you need to work a bit harder on your style and flash.
