A bit of Greek Mythology (this movie leans towards greek myths and somewhat my own slight twist to things):
To get into Hell/Underworld, you must give the ferryman a coin known as an obol to cross the River of Styx or else you would be stuck between worlds.

that spoke to me so much that changed all of my poetry...
the song spoke but yet... the subtleness and doubt of the video made the most of the difference...

"Mythological point"

The leader of the angels we see in the beginning is Hermes, god of cleverness, speed, and thieves too in the greek mythology (=to Mercury in Rome) , as for the God, it's of course Zeus/Jupiter (lightning...)
The god of Hell is Hades/Pluto as for the 3-headed monster, it might be either Hydra or Cerberus or a mix of the 2. The undead ferryman is Charon.
Great movie overall although I fail to understand how come the angels got destroyed by the demons but easily owned the hell tentacles.
