This is a humerous short-story about an orange bird named "Jens" and his decision to read 2.002.002.124 books.
It's based on 20 very small pages of doodle I made during classes.

It's not particulary well-written or hilariously funny. Neither is it well executed, since I got flash a couple of weeks ago and well, I'm a bloody Newbie and still learning.
But there is a chance you'll enjoy it anyway, so what the heck.

Thanks for viewing!

Er, note: I'm no native english speaker, and I if you'll find any mistakes, which I guess you will, sue me.

"Very clever"

First thing I liked about this flash was the surprise ending. It gave me a chuckle. The sound was a little bit quieter than i would've liked, but at least it was perfectly understandable. The story was great, and I enjoyed the graphics. It was interesting how you were able to combine hot chocolate, books, and gasoline in such an interesting way. I'd like to see more work from you; you have a lot of potential. I have to ask though, what language was the book in, and was there some significance I'm not getting?

Author's Response:

First of all: Thank you for your positive review! I'm a little surprised, 'cause I thought the ending comes a bit too early and the story could've "developed" more.

To your question: It's the German book cover. That is because this flash was originally in German (I originally never intended to publish it). When I decided to submit it to newgrounds, I redraw the German writings and redubbed the whole thing. But I was too lazy to replace the book cover. That's why it's in German. No further significance. ;)

I could upload the German Version, but I doubt there'll be positive response.

Jens is so cute ! Like the character very much , and its so cool how you include a little but of science {kinda} into this . very nice , its weird but nice . Great Job ! -_^

Author's Response:

Thank you very much. :)
Though I must say, as is said in the credits, Jens is not my invention. The first of a long series of Jens-Comics was drawn about two years ago by a good friend of mine. Since then I also drew lots of comics and small .gif animations, even 3D-renderings (yes, they love Jens. :> ), then decided to make this flash.
