This one takes me back...

This short takes me back to the day when we all would just sit and play games like FF2, Contra, and Street Fighter...I sense I'v gone to far. Anyway, this was a good one, I hope to see more by this author.

Excellent!

This movie was excellent, a great rendition of that which we did not get to see. Keep up the good work.

As for all you would be metroid fans -- that is, would be if you knew something about the series; this movie is entirely based on Super Metroid. It is a pre-introduction, if you would.

The music is all from Super Metroid -- none from Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission, and it's done pretty well in my oppinion.

For those of you who don't know, in the "chicken or the egg" style, Metroid came before Gamecube. The chronological order of release:

-Metroid (Nintendo)
-Metroid II: The Return Of Samus (Gameboy)
-Super Metroid (Super Nintendo)
-Metroid Prime/Metroid Fusion (Gamecube/Gameboy)
-Metroid Zero Mission(Gameboy)

Metroid is the actual first mission of Samus, however, in today's video game world, we older players find ourselves victims of bastardized versions of our old favorites.

Metroid Zero Mission, the new Shinobi remake, and many other games, including the Gamecube Resident Evil games. Exploitation of an old franchise to make money. Money before quality...

After Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger, the video game industry began a dive when it came to quality stories. Now everyone's crazy about the graphics. Instant gratification is for those with no imagination.
