If the game starts lagging too badly you can hit the options button on the left and change the quality, detail, or resolution settings.
You will unlock a nice little secret if you beat the game without using the level select screen. ;)

Well...
It´s very well made and so...but the controls aren´t THAT good and it´s somehow...pointless

Ehn...
I'm really, really tired of the whole 'mouse and keyboard' control scheme. I hate moving with the keyboard but turning with the mouse, it's just a retarded thing to have to do to play what could be a simpler (and better) game. One or the other, people. Thumbs down.
Ok... can you suggest a way to convert the controls of this game to be entirely keyboard based? Because I sure can't think of a way to do it.

Cause every game needs an escort mission
Well, I had fun, but. Overall, i didn't really like it. I was playing and lost interest. The gameplay really lacked.
Well, the sad truth is that I can't make a game that everyone will enjoy. Sorry mate.

Help
Can someone please help me with the endless hallway? I go through the ones that point to each other and above the ones that point up, but nothing happens. What do I do?

Great game
I thought this game was pretty great. I love customizable controls and I'm not sure I've ever see that in a web game before. I hope it catches on cuz sometimes the buttons you have to press are like impossibly stupid. Probably stemming from different keyboard layouts. The only problem with this game is I think the sword. Someone said the little girl could like chase it to you, but dude, the little girl doesn't affect the sword at all. She just runs around it, over it, on it, next to it behind it and it never moves unless I move.
I've seen customizable controls in a few other games, but I agree that more people should do it.
