10/21 - OMG Daily 1st + Frontpage? Thank you so much :D

There's also a short short music video for this, there'll be a link to it once the movie is loaded. It's much too big for NG. I need to learn how to compress video better - I tried everything but nothing worked. =[

This animation was made for a performance assessment for a US History class... Though it was mostly for the grade it was more for practice and experimentation with flash... I've never before worked with voice, frame-by-frame, or imported video, for that matter. I would really appreciate feedback, but otherwise, enjoy.

Damn your ass to hell.

OKAY, so it was a fucking massacre of bullshit historicaly. But so what right? I love that movie. Its a disney movie. All disney movies are a crock of shit. I just happen to like this one. Pocahontas was 12 O_o WTF Mate. John Smith was a pedofile.

it's disney

you could do this with any disney movie. most disney cartoons are based on historical accounts but most people don't expect them to be even 10% accurate. no one watches disney to be educated, they watch them to be entertained, period. do a movie like julius caesar, mutiny on the bounty, the last of the mohicans or gandhi or something...... that'd be much more impressive.

GREAT JOB, But you forgot one important detail!

You forgot Capt. John Smith got his leg blown off in a powder keg accident. He was sent back to england with Poco where he later died of an infection. Although Pocohantas was the centerpiece of British attention, she was depressed and later died of depression. This is what I remember from my history class.

I gave you 4 out of 5. You left out the tragic ending which would have dealt the micky mouse piece of crap a heavy blow. Overall good job. I hope disney doesn't attempt an animated version of WWII. On the other hand, singing and dancing Nazi's may just save Disney from it's loathesome crapulence.

last word: Real life isn't a Mickey Mouse movie as public schools portray it.

Pretty good

I'm no history buff, but anyone knows that Disney will dummy-down a historical event for a kiddy audience. Makes me wonder what would happen if Disney re-released a historically-accurate version of the film.

Either way, nice piece of work here. Stylish, full of humor, and educational too.
