Hear Ye, Hear Ye... The Queen needs a new swimming pool. The King calls upon you, The Black Knight, to go hither and bash as much taxes as possible from thy freeloading peasants.

Update: changed the game timer to be frame count based instead of 60 seconds per level so now people with slower computers won't be penalized.

This is my first venture into a "1-click" game. Simply press the mouse button to bash thy freeloading peasants. Yet it's got surprising depth, learn to make combos, wind up for super hits, earn extra points, use powerups properly, and compete for global high scores.

This game features some great touches. The King's a stuffy little tart, the Black Knight is a big loveable dummy, great animations and music (almost like watching an old cartoon), and don't forget the elevator music in the upgrade store :-) It just appeals to a core male emotion of hulk smash.

Created in association with Brain Jam. Our idea/guidance/budget and their art/programming.

Got a website? Your welcome to put The Black Knight on your site, un-altered of course.

Yay, clobbering fun!

Well done! though it's a very simple game, it brings a great deal of entertainment. I have no idea how some people get into the millions on the high score list, but I'm sure they have too much time on their hands.

Adorable graphics, and whilst it did get repetative after a while, it nevertheless was captivating and almost spellbinding. I only got to about 70k gold before I was fired. Pfft, who else is going to knock innocent peasants senseless to steal their money? That king NEEDS me. Ah well, his loss.

I'm glad you actually gave him an identity rather than just an ordinary knight that goes killing. Loveable brutes, you have to adore them. You can just picture him going "I love my job."

Overall, a nifty little game with a pretty sweet concept. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it, but because of the repetativeness, I don't feel entirely inclined to play it more than a few times. Nonetheless, very well done!
