It's an old classic. Shame you didn't have any of the S-shaped pieces though. It was pretty dull till level 5, then it got amusing. I got bored at 1,200 points and gave up though.
Nice choice in BG music, that old song is still in the top for " Tetris " themed audio on the NG database.

Nice stuff, who doesn't love a little classic Tetris now and then? Simple, easy to play, decent graphics too. Ofcourse you could make the graphics better and add to it, but it's a great start. keep going!

I went through the list of all of the tetris games they had on new grounds and this is the best one for me thus far...
I like that you kept the classic theme to it and i love the tetris song you put on there....

GOOD GOD CAN YOU EVER REACH LEVEL 2??? but nice flash, i like how you used a remake of the original russian music. tetris is one of the things in life that must be respected! but one of those pieces... its a tretris not a tetris... a tetris is made up of four bits... and the game keeps repeating itself, give it some sort of jazzy effect or unique feature, that stuff hits front page!
thank you but the way it's done the background image would never be seen because the actionscript is ancient and each square you see whether it be green or the gray ones that appear to be behind them are actualy all one layer thus background image is impossable thanks 4 ur input
My biggest complaint?
Well, only if you insist, but I have to point out that one of the pieces only was made up of three squares: a tritis, not a tetris.
Plus this is just a bit too plain. Where's that creative spark? Everybody has one, just relax, close your eyes and think: what do I really want to accomplish? Until you reallt know the answer your products will be bland. But with the spark, man, that crazy spark - look out world, here you come!
