when you go to the shed get a flashlight,to kill the tree...use the torch on the roots there 5 of them ,when you win you get a key I'm 11

when i play this game it starts me off at the part where you bring down the tree to get to the other side pf the river leading me to the boss, yet i have no items to get to the boss. when i try getting some items in Qaz's house, i get a black screen what gives? 0/10 since i haven't even played the game to give a rateing.
