This movie is all about the hurricane in technicallity. But we all know, this is all symbolic for the mid 1800's and its early begginings of comunism. Cause we all know, karl marx had tought times in begginings of his beleifs and never really saw the full uplifitings up his beliefs to come into action. One of my freinds also brought up, that alot of this can be symbolic for modern economy and its general obsession with ignoring what gas prices should be according to inflation any ways, and comparisons between them and the prices in other countires. stop whining faggots.
