The money you get increases as the game gets farther. It doesn't take till level 50 to get something good, you can get a new weapon about every 5 levels early on. So PLAY THE GAME BEFORE SAYING IT SUCKS YOU DON'T GET ENOUGH MONEY!

HINTS! Backshot is a vital weapon for the 3rd boss, so save up! Backshot also makes quick work of thos damn turrets!
Now people are complaining about not being able to move certain diagonal directions.

Damn people stop asking for color! It's SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK AND WHITE it gives it style! I MEAN COME ON! DO YOU EVEN THINK IT WOULD LOOK GOOD IN COLOR? It's not a game with the color sucked out. It's a game designed in black and white to look good only in black and white.

Nice shooter.
Really nice game. The only thing missing is a pause button. Other than that,this shooter rocks!

I like it
It's good but im on lvl 21 and my weapon is maxed out. You need to add more upgrades to encourage the players to keep playing.

okay not bad
just to tell you not a bad game but needs cheaper weapons and i have seen a bullet come from the bottem of the screen so i cant give it a 8/10 so your getting a 6/10 oh one last thing the ship you play as moves normal speed but the enymys move like twice as fast so you have to be very very careful

solution to your "no diagonal movement" problem
you can change the shoot-key to be CTRL, rather space. this doesn't conflict with the arrow keys.
overall, I must say that the game felt very basic. none of the weapons had any personality to speak of, AI drones had virtually no AI... I can overlook the gray-scale, but if you're going to use that color scheme, there should be some critical reason for doing so.
