I noticed that this piece and your most recent work "Selva" had the same intro and music. Very pretty, and it kinda gets you into the "okay, a folk tale is coming up... get comfy" mode.
Because I'm not familiar with Slavonic folklore, this is a little alien to me. Lady has a baby, baby gets stolen by shadows, shadows replace baby with a scroll (?), because the baby's a scroll it never ages, lady grows old and eventually dies. What, pray tell, does the scroll mean? And why do the shadows take her baby? Mean ol' shadows...

It on the basis of an old legend, about that that spirits I change the child piece of a tree. Which thus does not grow. Always remains the baby.
