This game was an interesting experiment, I had fun with it. Although I've really wanted to get back into flash there is no way it's ever going to happen. If you do stumble upon this flash I hope enjoy it. I was pleased with the feedback I received. It would have been nice if I could have finished it.

I like but...
i finished all but nothing happened... just the note. The game its ok I guess, its original and I love Poe :) the only problem here is the bug I think.

interesting
I'm so sorry but I'm confused with the plot. the story was too long for me to read. I prefer to figure out the story along the way of the game than reading the whole thing. Its kind of dull like that. As for it being scary or not. Yeah it could freak some people out but for me its the regular haunted house teens go to for fun every Halloween. Except where I live you get to be chased by a guy with a chainsaw. Long story. But about the game it was okay. If this was the authors first try it wasn't so bad. Fix up the graphics and to be honest, the story line, thank you.

I beat the game..but nothing happened.
Yes, I solved the amazingly hard paintings riddle, I opened the box and read the letter inside, nothing has happened though. The note on the floor appeared and I went to the library and read the Masque of the Red Death. Still nothing has happened, I'm roaming the corridors of this "spooky" house, which isn't that spooky with all the candles lit. I hope the second one isn't bugged like this one.

Uh...
This game sent chills up my spine. I didn't make it very far, but I saw enough to pass my judgment on. It could use a bit of polish on the visuals. These aren't horrible, but they could use a little work. You got the scare factor down as far as I'm concerned. The audio is alright. I didn't find that much wrong with it. I noticed that you said this was an experiment, but if you could polish this up a bit it would be a work of pure genius.

Too much work to be fun
This game lacks the logic I normally look for in a point-n-click. Items are found in strange places and puzzles make little sense. I found that not being able to put an item back into my inventory was a pain. The audio track is very annoying and I ended up turning down the volume to escape it. Overall I scored this one kinda low, though I think it shows potential, just needs some more R&D and test play time before it was released.
