Cow curling is basically cows on ice playing that daft olympic sport that those Canadians and Dutch seem to be really good at. Its so addictive.
Choose your direction and power and hit the bottle, puck, stone or whatever that thing is called. Use the other two cows and their wagging tails to control the speed.
Simple and addictive and completely insane.
