Odd short about a mechanical bird poacher.. or something like that. Animated mainly by hand (with real live paper, no less!), which i vow never to do again.

The music track is "Summer Living" by mu-ziq, off the Brace Yourself EP. If you like it i recommend you grab a copy, as the heavily compressed clip in the movie doesn't do it any justice. The rest of the cd kicks ass too, btw.

Bitmaps and audio are obviously compressed a lot for newgrounds' sake; a larger copy can be found on my site.

Good job!

I was actually really surprised when I watched through the entire video. I am like 80% of america where in the first 15 seconds if it doesn't catch my attention I "x" it off. But I love the music and the way you did the animation. Make another!!!

really good animation

the animation is superb and the story is great, though i could use a bit more sound through it and less of the squeeky noised looping music thingy

Great work! Keep it up and would love to see more. I am very critical of submissions and this has definitely hit in my top 20. Please don't stop putting out quality work.

Nice!

The Mu-ziq is indeed kickass. Thanks for sharing.
At first, I enjoyed the juxtaposition of low-tech hunting higher tech, but that really wasn't the point at all, I think. After he nailed the birdthingy, I thought it might've been funny if the slotted screw-eye changed into a phillips head to indicate it was dead.

Anyway, beautiful work, and I hope you break your vow never to draw on paper again, because I think it suits your hand.
