"Not bad."
As said before, for a second flash this is pretty good. Gotta love the tenchu background music. Some pointers on improving maybe: -A better title screen (I mean, yellow? come on, at least make it ninja-ish like.. BLACK! :P) -Some improvent on the timing of sounds (There was a part early in the beginning, that the gun fired but there was no sound.. so ya) -Background of the environment instead of just one colour.. -Voice-acting maybe? (that would be cool..) -And last but definitely not least, more action (baddies etc.)
Just some pointers, don't take em too serious if you know wht I mean.. Well, anywayz..
Great job, keep it up..
thanks alot! yeah i know what you mean about the title screen!! :S oops! lol thanks alot on the pointers though! they'll help alot! also, i'm going to try and make it not so 2d side-to-side-scroll like, and make it more 3d! well thanks again! :D
"well...."
I liked the Tenchu background music. Great job.
yeah i thought it'd give it a bit more of a 'ninja' look and feel! thanks
"very nice"
only your second? great job. i liked the background music and i also liked the ninja slicing the guy in half.
hope to see more from you in the future. keep it up!
thanks alot! that bit has to be my fav too!yeah it's only my second. it need a fair bit of improvement but i think i can do that over time
"you have an intuitive sense of flash"
yeah, how could this be your second flash? a lot of time and hard-work i guess. i'd like to delve into technical details more. i think that's missing from a lot of posts. we just review the content, rather than the execution. As another second-time-flash-artist, how the hell did you make everything so fluid and intuitive? was it just a lot, A LOT of time, easing in and easing out a lot? what were your layers looking like, and how did you obtain such a seemingly effortless, yet very nicely done little peice? gotta know. good job and thanks.
wow thank you so much for the review! yeah, it's only my second flash. it's a lot better than my first. i spent quite alot of time on it i must say, well as in about 10 days or so..? oh god, the layers, there were alot. um, about 6 layers per caracter which were all placed into folders. and there were ALOT of seperate frames. because it was all done with frame by frame rather than tweening. well, thanks again for the review.
"Wow"
This was great...the moves and the sound were seamless, and I loved the splitting of the guard. The ending had me really wanting the next sequel. Awesome work.
thank you. yeah i must say, the splitting guard bit has to be my favourite! the sequel will ve arrriving soon!
