Whoa...it's been almost a year since I joined Newgrounds, and I've actually submitted something after all this time...whoa...

This is the first one that I've actually completed. It only took me a few days to work on - I started it late the other night and finished it today - since the sprites here are really easy to edit. It's been something I've always imagined whenever I play Super Mario Bros. When I showed it to my sisters they burst out laughing and I did the same too, I just couldn't get enough of it. That's a thing called pride isn't it?

Technically, I advise that you save it onto your harddrive somehow, apparently I tested it on Photobucket and it went blurry when it zooms in, so either set it to low quality or download it. Next, I don't know much actionscript, so please go easy on me (well yeah, that play thing IS cliched ^^; ). I know it hasn't got a preloader on it, that's because I haven't done much of those yet - besides, this is less than 200KB, so it should only take a minute or so to load on dial-up, if you use broadband, wait a few seconds or so.

Now, this is really important - I really NEED some tips on how to animate better in Flash. Despite having it for about 6 months now, I'm still not familiar with everything the program has. Teaching myself the basics isn't really enough (I only just learned how to make music sound better in stream mode), and there's all this bloody actionscript that it ripping my brains apart (thanks for teaching me how to make a play button work Splapp!). Yeah, there's no sound effects because I found them hard to rip off the emulator (I had to record the Mario song with a microphone dammit).

That means I really don't want anyone saying things like 'OMG IT'S FUNNY!!1111ONE!!!', and "UR FLASH SUX!!!ONE!!". Comments like that are in no way helpful, and I won't be able to make better flash crap in future. Also please vote fairly, I know it's only a quickie but still, I could improve on that for the future. If you really think this sucks, then go around NG for Mario flashes that should have been blammed ages ago
