Hey! I submitted a huge piece of crap earlier this week! I tried to make up for it with this tutorial! It is a nice tutorial that covers mostly everything a newbie at flash needs to know. I think that the moving part in the games section is a little messed up. I'll try to update that sometime later. If i get a good rating on this tutorial, i'll make another!

Great!!!

I found a mistake in your tutorial that i am going to let you know! For the cursor you have "Mouse.Hide" when you should have "Mouse.hide" the "H" in hide should be lowercase so for all of you people out there that couldnt fighure out why your cursor doesnt work thats why. Just because of 1 letter that is not lowercased the whole code gets messed up and cant figure it out.

Sorry, man..

This was the sorriest excuse for a tutorial i've ever seen, it was alright with the few notes in the "Tween" section, there is no "Convert to group", please check the Flash 8 system before you make a tutorial and hopefully it will be better

that was pretty good

i definately learned some more basics from that. i think most things were really simple and easy to learn from that flash, but it got confusing at the custom pointer and other stuff. but yeah, i will commend you on the overall job.
