A young man comes to terms with his dead childhood bird.

This is based on a true story: I had a bird when I was a kid, and I moved around a lot, and he (or she) was one of the few constant things in my life. I was 16 when he died, and I wanted to bury him when I was settled in a place that I liked, so I put him in a brick. I still have that brick!

Pointless and strange, with nonchalant death.

It's the perfect recipe for silliness ala Coyote and Roadrunner. You can't miss :) I gave ya a 4/5.

Your flashes involve a lot of birds.

When it died, did you shove shit down its throat while you waited for a download to complete?
