Set in the near future. After watching Star Wars, the light saber concept became so popular that manufacturers start developing flashsabers and lightsabers. A new sport (like Kendo) emerged, involving saber fights using flashsabers and lightsabers. That sport is called Sabermania!!
The Sabermania arena is surrounded by an aura of darkness. Can you stop the darkness from shrouding Earth?
As always, please do not review with a rating of all zeros. Even if you don't like it, it still has graphics, animation, violence, sound and stuff... right?
EXPLANATIONS
-- Here I'd like to explain about the saber defense mode. Some of you are asking why the saber is reversed when you hit "Z". Well, if you watch enough Star Wars, that's how they block during battle. Well, not all of the time but it's sort of done that way.
TIPS
-- Some find this game very easy and some find it very hard. So here is a tip from the creator. Hold down Z most of the time and wait for the opponent to attack, then slowly move your saber to touch his/her saber. Then, with lightspeed, release Z and press X, then SLASH!!

it was pretty good but a little too easy
i started off at difficulty 8 and i cleared it without getting killed once (i expected it to be hard on 8) but i must say this is an incredible piece of work.
keep it up man!

DAMN!
ALl my 5's and if it was possible 10's R BELONG TO THIS KICK ASS GAME! Like Ronin or however you spell it... If you add things like double teaming your character or something, it would make it better, or a guy with double lightsabers like Darth Maul

Too easy man :)
Just owned the game at skill lvl 8 without any death, make it HARDER!!
Beside that, it's a great game!! Good concept man!

Best Flash Game Ever
Absolutely remarkable. I have yet to see anything that can match this game. Brilliant controls, great toturial, easy to get started with, hard to master. Everything a good game should contain, AND better yet, i could turn of music, and set it to a low quality, so it actually played 100% smoothely!

Excellent Flash Game
This is one cool flash game. I don't think there's any other 1st person light saber games out there (except for that Star Wars arcade game...).
Anyways, thanks and great work to author of this game.
Wish list for Sabermania 2:
- multiplayer head to head with another human opponent somewhere on the internet.
- ability to keep on slicing and dicing opponent, even when opponent dead.
