Here is my update to the original Rel-A-Sketch. I have added:

- MUSIC!
- Sound Effects

- SAVING! <- This was the largest part of the upgrade. Just click 'save' and title your piece. You can see it on display at

http://epheph.com/sketch

Shortcut Keys:
's' - Toggles Background Music
'g' - Toggles Guides

I also added a nifty preloader since the flash file is nearly 0.5MB. The music used in Rel-A-Sketch is

Xerxes - X-rayed

Yes, I know the system is complicated, but that's what is supposed to make this program different from Paint. Enjoy.

(title in work)

Ok, this is a very complicated game. I can see it being complicated, as you wanted it to be different from Paint. However, it has even fewer capabilities than a program even as simple as Paint. So here you have a very complicated version of Paint with just the pencil tool and one color. Honestly, I don't see much point. Even with the instructions, it's really hard to get this to do exactly what you want.

cool

how did you get it to save the file to a different server? email me (my address is in my profile)

epheph responds:

Ahh, the whole saving thing was absolutely the most intricate part of the revision. Check out what 'Denvish' posted in this thread:

I actually had to store every little line that was drawn, pass it to PHP, and have the server redraw the whole with hundreds, sometimes thousands of little lines!

I like it!

This is a simple, yet great idea! The controls are hard to get used to. But soon, you get the hang of it. Having the dials would help others, I guess. The people who are giving you low scores most likely did not know how to control the lines. 9/10
