Wow! Front page! What an honor, thanks NG!
Thanks for all of the great reviews everyone! You're really encouraging me to submit more stuff to Newgrounds, and I look forward to your comments.
This was my first full Flash movie, all visual and audio (minus the music) are original.
Note: "Do Us Part" refers to the phrase "Till death do us part." Hope that clears things up for some.
His husband is dead?
@LightRiku:Someone in grief wouldn't be able to think clearly. Expect human, not robots.
Downside is that you left the recovery part, ending at the inverted peak of the stages of grief. So it's half of 10.
I just can't find the words to say how wonderful and touching was this animation. Third attempt reminded me of a true story regarding a friend, who luckyly didn't jumped from the window... She was somehow stopped... I don't know who to thank for that, but... I thank "it".
I really liked this one. Thank you for this
Sad but sweet. Though I'm confused as to how it all happened. Maybe I shouldn't question it, but it seems like the husband is protecting her from beyond. I could see how he might have done the sleeping pills and the razor before he died, but how did he catch her? Was it all just a dream? That said, if a person really wanted to kill themselves by cutting, a razor wouldn't be necessary, and I think she would have realized that. When she broke the glass with the pill bottle, I expected her to use the glass to kill herself. She's either not that determined to kill herself or somehow didn't think of using the glass, but geez, it's not that hard to see. I'm not trying to make light of such a serious flash, I'm just saying that someone truely suicidal would have been more resourceful. But whatever, seeing as this flash is from 2005, you're probably not paying attention to these reviews anyway. To the five or ten people who see this review before it's pushed off the page, enjoy.
