This is a conceptual animation, so its more of an idea than a tangible story.

"great"

i liked it, nice art work, good sound.

well, here is what i guess the story is about:
people are born pure, soft and untoutched by any sort of violence and stuff like that. thet, they are taken away from all that, into a world, that is like some sort of anvil made from trash. then you only see what the media likes you to see: the television, in front of it you grow...
the name of the film represents how the media is keeping us "under it`s wing" all the time.

once again, a nice movie :)

Sorry, you do draw very well and you display a great art work. However i do not understand what the whole story is going on about.

"Best flash sunrise EVAR!"

date: May 25, 2005

Seriously, that was quite the amazing job of animating the shading and various angles of the sunlight and all... I loved it. And as the day begins and the flash continues to show different things the great visuals just continue. But nothing beats that initial sweeping of light over the hills...

The music is so damned familiar... probably some financial company advertisement or something, but it's well placed herein, I think. With the removal of the lil' guy from his flower and his arrival at the very very strange nest/hive... the flash definitely takes a turn for the strange. Still such great use of lighting and shading, though, like when the door opens and the light pours through... The two things that strike me the most about this are the ways you interrelate nature and machinery... it's obviously no accident that the bee or whatever is mechanical... and the guy isn't... the contrasts are quite striking. Yet the scene with the abdominal-TVset cements the linkage. That, and... the other thing would be that the title "Under Our Wing" really sounds quite benevolent and typically "protective," "mothering," etc. etc... but such a phrase can easily be used by people or groups or societies or governments or militaries... who want to take us under their wing... and who know or think they know... what is best for us. And that is another thing your flash makes me think of. So, well done with the rich visual textures here... they unlock so much else for many of your viewers, that's clear.

Great great job, man. And hey, I love the font you used for the title and the end credits. Stylish job from start to finish, well done!

"perfect music. animation was smooth"

date: May 9, 2005

this was pretty good. i think that the flower was innonence the child represented that too. the bee thing either represented W.A.S.P.'s or a school bus taking the kid to school. (if you dont know what that is ask someone cause i dont feel like explaining it in a review.) anyway the bee hive i think to me represented society and the t.v. represented the crap we are fed in order to conform and or the stuff we are being taught.
anyway, thats what i think it represents as im just making it off the top of my head. the toon was very good, kudos to the guy who made it.
