Something I did for a school project on how cartoons would be different if Castro controlled the US.

This started off good with Castro and the roadrunner. However, the second part with the other TV show seemed unnecessary and that it did not belong in the movie. Perhaps if you remake it with only the first part, it will benifit your movie greatly.
Finally!! A good recent flash!! (About time.) Hey, I think you did great on the art animation!! It was pretty funny, too. I would be ticked if Castro takes over my programs that I love to watch.
What an ACE world! Castro rules :D Well, actually, I don't know that for real, but he did in your cartoon. Really good voices, humour etc. Oh, and brilliant drawing.
That Would suck if Castor ruled the US. I need to watch my fucking looney tunes without interuptions!

This was brilliant, but doesn't it remind you of the incessant commercials on American TV? Or for that matter, all the breaking news stories of relatively minor news stories which interrupt regular programming? In short, I think TV as we know it (at least among those who have not yet made the jump to TiVo) is pretty much like you depicted here.
Note, you did spell 'imagine' incorrectly at the beginning in the short intro. I loved the Spanish voice-overs and deliberate poor quality of the sound in that segment, especially the voice for the taller of the two figures. That was positively wonderful and added greatly to the realism of the whole thing...makes me wish my Spanish was better, but alas, German is my forte in the foreign language arena.
Hope your teacher appreciated this animation as much as I did. I would have given it top marks!

It would've been nice if you subtitled the last conversation. Also, maybe I just don't "get" your brand of satire, but you didn't seem to be making any real points that I could appreciate.

I didn't really enjoy this, but I can respect why others would. I didn't really do much for me. Others seemed to enjoy it a lot though, so good for all you people! Take a look though, decide for yourself
I loved the beginning with roadrunner and Castro kept interrupting, but I think the Spanish cartoon was a strange note to end on. I know very little spanish and I could barely understand what they were talking about. This should have been longer and it would have been golden. Great idea for a flash! 4/5 vote, 7/10 review.
I think you missed something here - something really big. While the flash itself is well made - and to some even quite funny - I did not see the politics or any serious reflection on it. I would of course rate it lower if it had been an 'anit-castro, death ot communism' flash off the bat, and I did not seek some US - Cuba political info-flash - but - a serious reflection on the politics of bourgious world poltics vs. communism would have made this very very interesting.
So - you get a high score for technique, and low one for content.
there aren't many channels without interupting. if it's not interupted by a speech it's interupted with commercials all the time anyways...
and I don't think that some ppl understood why the last part wasn't subtitled. the point of it would've been taken away if it was subbed.
very nice animation, particularly if it was TV in Cuba or if Castro ran the U.S.... but then again, anything remotely good on TV nowadays are interupted by commercials and stupid news reports that no one is ever interested in... like another car bomb in israel or iraq and stuff.
