Update 1st of May, 2009:
The new and improved Barbarian Bob is here, built from the ground up with new levels, enemy ai, gameplay mechanics, cheats and secret items. The game also supports NG Medals, so have fun earning them all!

Its imperative that you use your shield as much as you can. Or you WILL die. <3

good. . .
The art is good. . .It looked too much like Dan Paladin's style,though. . .so you get an 7.Music - Good,but taken from another game. Interactivity?WAY WAY too slow and frustrating. . .when you die you start back over at the very beginning with 3 lives. . . .and you need ALL those lives. . .Basically,you can get through the ENTIRE game by hitting block,attack,block,attack, then move to the next enemy. . .you need more variety in your enemies or else you can just keep the block,attack,block,attack strategy. . very boring. . and the enemies attack so slow,as well as the player. . . Improve on these. . .good game,though. . .

simple and nice
I like that it had a simple user interface, like none, =) and it is cute. The graphics are not so intermediate but still no problems..

ARRGGHHH!!! Frustration!
Very nice. The graphics are nice, although the simple people are a kind of detraction to the backgrounds. I noticed a few glitches in the game, such as invisble cracks in the elevated walkways where you can fall through it and drop back down to the lower level. The game is plenty violent, but it seems pretty difficult. I can imagine many less patient people gnawing on their keyboards after playing this for an hour without getting to the boss.
An expansion of this with a checkpoint feature would probably get a perfect grade. Iron out those glitches and maybe add a continue from second level feature or something. Great job!

Awesome game but difficult
This game is great, I love the animation style, and the sound is flawless. However, it's difficult to take down all the bad guys (especially when they're all at your strength or higher). I could say make it easier, but that wouldn't be fun. Otherwise, brilliant work!
