my first animation
Pretty good for something made in 2000.
Wow, this was amazing for its time, and even now it's still a great piece of work. Love the atmosphere, especially the way the main character was drawn. It was a bit on the short side, and there wasn't as much character development as I would like, but it is nonetheless amazing. There's a reason that this is one of the more well known flashes of the early era: it has that serious feel without being pretentious not found in flashes today, let alone back then.
For it's time this was epic.Sure, it's short, but it had high quality animations, a plot, and a nice ending! This flash had it all for the time, and that's why it still holds up as a classic.
Nice short film, nice music it fits the story in a sense, and you ended it with a cliff hanger. Good job
Nice Lighting Effect
This has got to be one of my favorite Newgrounds flashes on the past. You did an excellent job creating a nice creepy aura in the flash with mysterious looming characters. A very nice job on making this a successful "noir" flash with great quality especially the street lighting effect it can't get much better than this for a flash this old. The music was great and added a very nice scene especially when he's walking up the stairs after hearing the gunshots creating a somewhat spooky scene. A nice plot set up with the flash as well keep up the great work!
The ending could have been improved quite a bit and it kind of makes the long pace and sense of timing kind of a waste. I wish it explained more about the character and why or what he was exactly doing going up the stairway in the house and investigating such things.
It's a great spooky and mysterious flash yet truly grim and interesting. The plot and character could be emphasized more but other than that excellent job.
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
this one isn't funny
