Robots aren't supposed to have emotions...
However, perhaps robots can be conscious of the fact that they lack something essential that humans have and sometimes take for granted, or perhaps they can have emotions and not be aware of it...

That was epic!
ahh, that one stole the day! It was really breakthrough dramatic and cosmically thrilling in its introspective of the life and times of a robot', captured perfectly in its day to day existence defined as 'empty.' ='(
