I don't usually submit Mailbags, but this is my favorite that I've done so far, so I couldn't resist.
And let's address one thing right now:

Yes, when I started FredtheMonkey.com two years ago Homestarrunner was a big inspiration. Since then however, I've developed my own style and ideas so aside from the fact that it's a Mailbag, not much else is the same.

StrongBad Rip Off.
Good graphics and sound but nothing special.
I wish you'd have given me some ideas on how to make it something special, but I suppose I'll just figure that out on my own with time. Thanks for the review anyway.

here's the thing
this is pretty good. funny, well animated... but the problem is it's just too similar. i know you warned us, and i'm sure the site has evolved, blah blah blah. doesn't change the fect that this is a rip-off. so sadly, any value it may have is lost. it's just the way of the world ma.... way of the world
Ok well, thanks for the input anyway. Don't worry, I won't submit any more Mailbag's here to NG. Just fresh new stuff like the S+F Review of the Increddibles and the things I've done for Shades of. Thanks again for the comments!

Hmmm
Not as good as Strongbad, but the last time someone compared me to someone else in my flashes i wanted to kill, but hmmm... no you suck.
Yeah, it sucks to get compared to someone who's been animating and popular for six years. But oh well, at least I'm trying. And maybe in another three years I'll be as good as the people I get compared to! Thanks for taking the time to review!

Shades of Homestar?
Strong Bad is definitely an influence, but Sceb is certainly more raw. Keep it up!
Thanks for the review. I'll definately keep it up, but I think I'll steer clear of submitting any Mailbags here to NG. It's just too many people are angry. Go figure.

Great even if it's similar to HS
Yeah it was like homestar but it was still great. The part with the guy screaming with the lye in his eyes was the best!! lol!
I'm going to go watch the other twenty that came before this I hope they're as funny!! Keep up the good work I want to see more!
Great, glad you enjoyed it. Definately go check out the others over at the site, and there'll be more there too, just not here because so many people seemed to be upset.
