I present to you, the fruit of my labor Sally can Wait. It's a coming of age story if you were confused(summory at the bottom).
Update: Added Scene Selection, bumped up sound quality as much as I could without sacrificing graphics or going over 5 meg, added a link to the animated storyboard, and made a menu button for quick access to the menu. Enjoy!
-time to complete: Aprox 1 week
If you didnt understand the story, here is a quick explenation of the symbolism:
-Otus is a guy who isnt happy with his life, he yerns for simpler times. one day while working he slips into a dream where he plays with his young self, responcibility tears him away from this quickly however, and he is forced to face reality once again. finally fed up with the real world, otus desides he would rather live in the past (his imagination) and thus knocks himself out. again, reality comes back to him as it allways will certainly, and it seems harsher than ever (dirty cell). again he wants to go back to his dream. Sally, like life though, wants to throw him a bone and show him how reality can be worth living, but as she goes to tell him, he is out cold. Sally makes the last attempt to reach Otus before he becomes fully delusional with fantasy world by entering his imagination, knowing that someone loves him makes him realize how selfsh he's been and how he really needs to live for the future, not the past. He wakes up again but this time he is ok with his future (his own room with a nice sunrise, symbolizing a bright future)
Other Symbolism:
Kid=Otus' inner child

Thats how I envisioned it, but take from it what you want, many people do.

This was a really heartfelt cartoon! I guess I loved it because of the message it was sending. It seemed like everyone can associate with this. I want to have responsibility in my life. We should still never lose our inner kid, though. It really sent chills down my body.

It was weird to have scene selection for a music video. I like how it got lighter during the credits. We shall never lose our inner kid. The music is just amazing. The animation is of course great too.

Oh man, I remember watching this when I was just a little kid, and feeling so sad knowing that one day I would have to grow up..

I first saw this years ago. and loved it I thought I'd come by again and watch it today, and write a reveiw in hopes that nobody ever forgets what a great flash this really is.

Years later this video still pulls me back to new grounds, a wonderful thoughtful piece, a story from the music, but not necessarily the same as the music. Everything one would want from a music video, and deluged in emotional content, with solid animation, and good flow. It's one of my favorites and always will be.
