PLEASE RECOMMEND THIS FOR THE STAR WARS COLLECTION!
A "what if" sprite re-enactment of the battle between Luke and Darth Vader from Return of the Jedi, had Lucas named the movie "Revenge of the Jedi" as he originally intended.
Sprites are from Super Return of the Jedi for Super Nintendo.
Title and credit music from Star Wars, by John Williams.
All other music by The Crystal Method, from their Vegas album.
Voices and sounds were recorded straight from the movie.
that was cool i liked that way when thay were fighting in the dark and u could see the lightsabers only
yeah, that was my fav part too, cept for the repeatition but the figures and the lightsabers were seperate objects and it was pain enough to match up the path of the sabers with their movements for 12 frames let alone a few dozen
But wen he stood on the lightsaber shouldnt it hav burnt his like feet
i wasnt exactly going for realism but thanks for the tip - it was a spoof of kill bill
Not as good as your other stuff, but still great.
I have just viewed all of your NewGrounds submissions and this was not the best (but only because it was sprites and not more realistic-looking actors!) The movie was incredible and how Return of the Jedi should have ended (ehh, maybe not...) but anyway, the music was very epic and very cool. Keep up the great work dude!)
thanks again baron
I love sprites dude. But this, this was AMAZING! I've been wanting to do some Star Wars type animation but no motivation, and I think this gave me the motivation to do it. Thank you. This is in the favorites.
