The object of this game is to create music by destroying enemy ships. Different colors start different tracks of music. Your score for the level is added up and turned into your life bar for fighting the boss.

Please enjoy this game!

I had been needing a way to utilize all the various music loops I had created over the years, and this game turned out to be the perfect way to do that. For anyone interested, the music was all created in FLStudio (some stuff was recorded in GoldWave, but you can do that in FLStudio now).

GREAT!

Defiantly a top 50 spot here on NG waiting for this submission.

Graphics: Well, There could have been more to the aesthetic side, but I think you did a great job with the layout, and trying to keep the game smooth looking without slowing down to much.

Style: The keyboard shaped ships perfectly fit the game. Nice touch with the lights around the display that went with the different corresponding beats.

Sound: The music was on point. Everything matched up perfectly. Not my favorite as beats go, but it was not annoying, and worked great with the game.

Violence: Not much here really, blow up ships, defeat sun boss, but nothing that really fit in as violence.

Interactivity: Well. The whole damn game was interactive! it depends on you to make the music, destroy different colors for different beats. Plus you had a nice menu set up at the main screen too.

Humor: The one thing I found funny, was the sound the boss makes when yo shoot him, nice touch there too.

I liked it...

there were a couple annoyances in the game though. The play area is sorta tiny so once the bad guys started to swarm the screen it was hard to dodge and if i get hit i can't shoot until i stop blinking and there wasn't room to evade until i could start shooting again. It's a great game idea and its a great start. I think you should work on expanding it a bit and adding a little more to it. ^('o')^

I can't think of anything. maybe the graphics? thats about it. I thought the idea was pretty origional.

really awesome game concept

if you decide to further this idea I'd add some type of powerups, longer stages, and a larger play area.

but like I said, this was a great idea with a lot of promise.

Great concept

This is really well done. I found the controls to be a little clunky at first, but once the music started kicking in the game really rocked. Great job.
