Update: All you people who loose on Day 4, You must have enough food for your people. You loose because you don't have enough food to feed them!
The Gold version of the game is alot better then the previous version. You can build a Large House now, almost all bugs are gone and some other things are added. I'm now creating The New Land 2, you can see concept art of that on my website.

The objective of the game is to have 25 villagers before day 100!
You can do that by building houses. But you'll need resources for that. There are 4 resources in the game: Food, Gold, Wood and Stone. You can gain Food by building Farms. Gold by building a Goldmine. Wood by planting Trees and Stone by building Stonemines. You can see the number 50 in the top border next to the pickaxe. It shows you how long it would take before a resource has been found. You can make that faster by building Houses or Vulcanos. It will then decrease by 1 or 5! When a resource is found the object will turn darkish and there will be an icon on top of it that tells you which resource is found. Trees can be used 5 times, Mines can run out but that won't happen quick. The Sword and Hammer in the lower right corner are your tools, click to switch them. The Sword is your default cursor, you can do everything with that. The Hammer demolishes buildings you don't want anymore. please Enjoy the game!
