Programmed by Tom Fulp, this game is like Atari on acid!
A KEY = SHOOT
S KEY = MEGA CANNON (must try this!)
DOWN KEY = SHIELDS
LEFT & RIGHT = MOVE SHIP
Your shield absorbs enemy life to raise your own health. The more you charge your shield, the bigger the impact!
Also, your Mega Cannon is enhanced when you have a fully charged shield!
The Captain Low-Rez series originally appeared on Newgrounds in January of 2001, but was never submitted via the Portal. It is in the process of being moved into the Portal system, for consistency.
Very fun game. I NEVER died except on level 2 I died 5 times. oh the shame. Happytron was easy and... Confusing.
...Did Stryyker just call himself better at flash than Tom Fulp?

i really dont think there's nothing else to say what duz any1 else think of my opinion?
i love any kinda retro stuff like this. reminds me of when i was a wee lad. ace game play as well. tremondous satifaction from finishing it. good game
What a great game, you have the style I like the most! I like that you are taking your stuff not too seriously like some other popular artist. Your games are always fun to play (not just a game engine with perfect physics or boring.) I am only saying this because you are the NG webmaster and I hope I can get ALOT OF MY GAMES ON THE FRONTPAGE NOW! lol
my eyes burn a little.....
but thats why I like it! everything added together( SUPER CANNON, BLASTOPODS, AND OBNOXIOUS BOSSES) are added together to make the equivalent of a seizure-inducing Japanese cartoon. But low-rez! Love it. #2 please?
