A KEY = SHOOT
S KEY = MEGA CANNON (must try this!)
DOWN KEY = SHIELDS
LEFT & RIGHT = MOVE SHIP
Your shield absorbs enemy life to raise your own health. The more you charge your shield, the bigger the impact!
Also, your Mega Cannon is enhanced when you have a fully charged shield!
The Captain Low-Rez series originally appeared on Newgrounds in January of 2001, but was never submitted via the Portal. It is in the process of being moved into the Portal system, for consistency.

It was alright, you know.
Didn't really feel like it was on acid. Wasnt going to give you any special treatment even if you are Tom.
But it was alright.

Something wrong, or is it just my comp
for soem reason my A button doesnt work in this game ivfe tested it in word pad on google but on this fame it works not is it just me and can anyone help??

Ow, my trigger finger
Great game, first off. I'm a personal fan of the 8-bit goodness of the olden days and I can't say no to a round of Captain Low-Rez. That last boss messed me up something fierce. I wish I had my mega cannon. However, I do think it would have been nice to move a little bit up and down to dodge the enemies that go around the bottom of the screen, looking to ram me. Didn't take away from the game, though.
