UPDATE 2/10/05: The response has been overwhelming! I'd like to address one bug that seems to be popping up... people have been reporting that sometimes the game will lock up and, upon restarting, their file gets corrupted. At this point all I can tell you is to either start a new file within the game if you can get into it, or find another Flash file, right click, select settings, navigate to the second tab, and clear your Shared Objects cache. Also, you can indeed get the buddy to be happy, like you see in the icon... just keep exploring to find out how. I'm planning on adding more ways to make him happy in future updates.
UPDATE 2/9/05: Wow, I am speechless. I am thrilled that this made first page, and the current score of it is amazing. I honestly never expected it to do so well. Well, I am extremely glad you guys like it, and once again I plan on making updates! Also, feel free to send comments to shock.value@gmail.com, so far I've replied to every e-mail.
Use various weapons to beat up on the buddy, in order to get money to buy more weapons!
Updates will come if you guys want them. Just leave reviews with suggestions for items, skins, etc.
Note that the graphics (such as the background) were left simple so that the framerate would be as high as possible. Around 36 fps is optimal, but some browsers have trouble displaying Flash movies at that rate (such as Firefox, which I use, unfortunately).

The most mean-spirited game ever...I'm in love!
This game is so mean, but I love it to death! 5/5, EASY! This is just too much fun. The only suggestions I can make are to add sounds, that would be neat, and more items never hurt, or maybe even be able to have two "buddies" on-screen at once. Awesome game, this kicks trash! Fabulous job!

hint:
The hint is: not to go below 8fps because if u go way to low the game will stop responding or it will slow down REELY SLOW and also wen u use explosives dont keep trying to press it rapidly because i done that nd the game just stopped and i culdnt play anymore
so wen u are playing this game 1) dont go absolutely mad!
2) dont keep pressing the weapon button rapidly
3) keep ur eyes on the fps
i hope this is helpful to u lot
and i want to say this game was reely good and that it must have taken a long time to make and alot of work nd it must have been stressful to get the fps just right so that the character can actually move!!!
man i dont know how these authors do it man!
their so good they culd even make games for the ps2! + other consoles

i just couldent bloody stop bombing tom with missiles!!!! n punch him with fists n makeing him a liveing torch with moltoves! so danm fun good job lad....tom dont delete me...

That is so sad
I felt bad when I used the hand grenades on him. Cool idea, need more to do though (Environment wise.) The plain area gets old.
