That flash was the most dramatic flash I ever seen in my entire life. It should be in the serious shorts or the anime.

And as a result, I took special note of your flash way back in February when you first submitted it. Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to reviewing it, but I was reminded to do so by your second version of this, and now I've finally gotten around to doing them both at once.

Kite is one of the best songs on All That You Can't Leave Behind, so I'm glad that you liked it enough to animate Fluete around it. I think you've created a good music video here, and while some of the pacing is a little off, you do a damned good job of lining things up with the music very well.

Anyway, from the launch of the missle to the "angel"isation of the protagonist... to his girlfriend watching helplessly as he heads for the missle... the events of the flash aren't hard to foresee, but they're still quite worth watching, and the music just helps us coast along nicely with the bittersweetness of it all. I'm glad you had the idea of making this in the first place, and I'm going to comment on some of the particular scenes/art/etc. more in my review of your other version of Fluete. Right about... now!

I think this was qite good I feel sorry for you ppl arent apprietiating your work... being a flash artist is hard and your good at it this is a great films which by the looks of a the majority of people like I think all you need to do is work on the artwork it wasnt the best graphics for anime but it was pretty good the flow of the presentation was great! The story line was classic and to me it never gets old :) great work forget those insults constuructive critism is what you want:) those ppl are just ppl who try to make themselves look cool by putting artists down

I'm sorry, but what the hell is this?
the faces are dodgy, the animation sucked, and the song was even crappier. Try something else, but NOT in anime. it's not your thing!
this just has ANIME WANNABE tattooed all over it's head. mind you, me and my friends laughed the whole way through, and it got even funnier when the girl cried because she looked like she was doing the air guitar. keep up the crap work though so we can laugh more.
