Intriguing start!

I thoroughly enjoyed the mysterious and intriguing start of this story. Its atmosphere reminded me a little bit of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, and that's a big compliment. I do hope that you can fulfill the high expectations that this first episode gave me!
