Pretty ok.

The animation looks great, don't get me wrong, but the sword combat looks very unrealistic. Moments where you spin around for no reason get you stabbed through the back. And while he was fighting those two "Drakins" they should have bothe been fighting him at once, not one at a time. It still looks good, though. Just choreaograph a bit better next time.

SirGaryColeman responds:

I think the choreography improves in episode 2 and even more in the future.

So far so good.

Nice I like the way its going right now. Gunna go watch episode 2 then review it, 5/5 from me, good job.

Eh

It was done well, but overall I personaly found it rather slow, and somewhat boring.

SirGaryColeman responds:

I think episode 2 has more intense action, but keep in mind that these are still intros and the "real" story hasn't started yet.

Not bad

Very nice work with the walking/running, was it rodoscoped? And the storyline sounds inertesting.. I liked the qoute. Not much to improve upon except to make the fighting smoother.

SirGaryColeman responds:

It was 3D. And yes, I will try to fix the fighting choreography. I found out that two of the best fighting flashes: Flashes like Ninjai and Genryu's Blade either had professional fighters choregraph (ninjai) or did a ton of research on fighting stances (Genryu), so I'll probably have to brush up on some of that too, since I know very little about fight choreography.

It was good but...

I think that it was a nice idea, and very stylised, to me though it just felt a little soul less. You are obviously very good with 3D work, but you dont seem to be quite as high a level at flash itself, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you're bad at flash, but you used the program just to squish a load of 3D characters in. It should have been a very good flash, the mood was right, the style was good, but it just didn't quite have the charm or heart for me. A good job none the less though, and I feel I'm dwelling too much on very much personal problems with it. Keep trying, I'm sure that someone with your obvious talent is soon to nail it eventually.

SirGaryColeman responds:

Hopefully, I will. The style changes a bit in episode 3 (hopefully not in a bad way for anyone who likes the current one), so maybe you'll view it when I finish those and let me know if you think it's better. Thanks for the review.
