You can always exit levels by pressing "Q" then select "exit" V2 will fix bugs.
Try this FOR SAVING/LOADING YOUR GAMES:
-WHEN YOU SAVE, SAVE IN ALL 3 SAVE SPOTS, THEN WHEN YOU LOAD TRY TO LOAD ONE OF THEM!!!! THANK YOU NG PLAYERS FOR 100,000 PLAYS! THIS IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MICOL RANKIN GAMES(God I hope that works)
if not try these notes:
-Right click on the movie go to SETTINGS and click on the FOLDER and allow UNDERGROUND.NET to save local access your computer.
-If you're using Firefox, make sure to allow cookies from "ungrounded.net" with out the quotes of course. Also, if you right click in the game, under the settings option make sure that you let stuff be saved there too, it's under the tab with the folder on it. I got it to work for me this way. AND my computer's a little quirky, so you know that it's Obviously USER ERROR if it don't work for you now. Hehe, Linux R0X0R5 by the way...(thanks DAudio)
-Right click anytime, choose settings click on the folder icon with a green arrow, and take the slider all to the right, then it says "allow ungrounded.net unlimited" and then your savegame works!(thanks alpha)
-You need to change you internet options for temp. internet files to allow for at least 10 MB for save
-Make sure you name your save
-Have cookies enabled in your browser

Arrow Keys= Movement
D= Projectile Shot/ Enter Map Levels
S= Melee Attacks
A= Super Attack/Dash
Q= Exits Levels
(dash becomes available on level up)
-Notes:
-Saving your game is easy, just go to the home orb on your world map
-To enter a level, fly over any blue orb in the world map and press "D"
-Level up at the home orb
-The Rune Tower is very important...remember it
-This game is HUGE, don't try to do it in one sitting.....save and come back!
-You earn experience points everytime you defeat a mission use them to level up
-The World Map is huge, HUGE, HUGGGGEEEE!! There are 4 whole oceans to discover to the north, south, east, and west. Can you uncover them all!
-If ever you need to leave a level (or if you just want to) press "Q". It will 'pause' the game and you can select to leave or continue.
-You do have limited lives in this game. The indicator is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. The "Caves" will give you life back if you ever are in need. Explore.....they might have weapons too!
-Be SURE TO HAVE COOKIES ENABLED ON YOUR WEB BROWSER. Also have at least 10 Megs of disk space available in your internet options...This is critical to saves.
-To load a game: click on Load Game in the main menu, then select "YES" next to your save file
