"Deep"

by: Dac116

At first, the graphics turned me away from this, but I sat it through and have to say I was quite surprised. This movie was alot deeper than almost anything else I've seen on Newgrounds, and was a shocking wake-up call compared to the comedic shorts I'm used to. This is a quality short packed with it's own unique style and some pretty deep emotions.

"Good as usual."

date: February 1, 2005

I always check in from time to time to see if you have posted any new work. I may have reviewed this the first time threw. But still it is a good job. Some extra's that were mildly interesting, nothing to great. But the flash is still a really good one. After just checking I am suprised it has almost been 2 years since the finale of Comet Magnum. Mabee I am the only one left but i would like to see it come back. Instead of changing the end to the series possibly a prelude to the first season. Anywho, good work as usuall I enjoy most all of your work keep it up.

"This was incredible"

date: February 1, 2005

This is some of the best work I've seen. Sure, not the BEST graphics, but the way everything was put together is incredible. The story deplicting the struggles of a demented mind mixed with violence and random nudity. It had something for everyone. Keep up the greast work....the ending...could there be a new victim? That'd be awesome.

"Aaaahahaha"

About 30 seconds into the movie, ordinary is still misspelled as "oridenary". I remember reviewing this when it first came out, months ago, and I pointed this out but you didn't believe me. Now I know you didn't even go back and try to fix it.

Anyways, pretty much the same stuff here. Bland computerized voice justified by the plot, good musical selection, decent drawings but poor animations overall. The drama in the plot is very not dramatic. The way everything is just laid out; you might as well have structured the dialogue to be like: "And then, this happened. And then, this happened. And then...." because it sounds like this anyways. Highly dull. Goes right with the dull Times New Roman text.

This definately falls under the "just because it's got deeper themes doesn't automatically make it good" flash category. A perfect example of it.

Atleast you did one thing really funny: The way Mary was all like "I'm the only one who understands him!" That was hilarious. Traditional female irrationality to bond with exactly the opposite of what you want, but I'm sure this was all unintentional humor.
