This is my Christmas gift for my good friend Bill (better known as Fox). It's a little late =\

Hope you enjoy it too!

The music is John William's "Duel of the Fates."

This made me quiver like fox's fur in the wind

The motif of "progressing from cool to super cool" was very clear in this featurette. This animator seems likely to dump excessive amounts of time into unnoticable effects . cool, abe. I think the dreidel was an awful idea.

ZombieLincoln responds:

Yeah, the dreidel did kinda suck. I'm glad you noticed the dumping, sir.

Awesome!

This is a perfect piece. Priceless, though... santa robot?? 0-0 Never thought of THAT before... graphics need a bit of work though.

ZombieLincoln responds:

Glad you were so pleased with it. You're right, some of the graphics are fairly sloppy.

Awesome!

I've used that word way too much in reviews, and yet it applies. I'm glad something like this exists on Newgrounds. However, I think you made Robot Santa's legs a little too shrimpy, but that doesn't stop me from giving you a 10!

ZombieLincoln responds:

It's an admirably quality to have the kind of perspective that doesn't allow a couple of shrimpylegs to come between you and a 10.

I wish the rest of Newgrounds could understand that.

A single tear of joy begins to well in my eye.

So, I'd heard that my Christmas Present would be a secret of extrodinary magnitude. I was nervous. I feared an elaborate scheme of the prank nature, IE being gagged, bound, blindfolded and put in the trunk of a car and driven deep into the wilderness and then left there, still dizzy from the exhaust fumes inhaled during transit. But no! A glorious shining light descended upon me in the form of a flash animation. Fate smiled upon me and made every other christmas gift ever look like "worthless shit". I'm forever indebted to you man, you're my best friend.

Knowing that you liked the flash makes the whole thing worth it - that was the point, after all. Thanks, man.

Amazing first time entry!

Well as much as I hate to knock the post of the great vulpin this was dedicated too off the home page. I still need to say my bit.

First off this is an amazing flash for a first submission and especially for someone that was learning on the go. The animation was beautifully built around the music, the subject matter was thought out and deep, it was extremly well layout and storyboarded. The only low point of this animation was your graphics (which were still impressive), however judging by the amount of time and care you placed into this project I'm sure you'll develope those skills shortly. All in all a well thought out peice of art that has impressed me.

Finally I'd like to say that I'm really happy to finally see a fox furry star in an animation (just call it vuplin pride) and I'd like to see more of Bill. He's really lucky to have you as a friend and I'm sure your lucky to have him too. Best of luck in your future and I'll be keeping my eye on you and your works.

A definate 5.

Thank you very much for the review! This piece, like the several other pieces I'm working on, was pretty centered on the music. In a way, it does the storyboarding for me. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Vulpin pride all the way, mans! I'm not sure if I'll do another animation based around Bill, but it's always a possibility. Thanks again for the kind review and adding my animation and me to your favorites :D
