It seems as if a lot of people think I ripped this off of Ratchet and Clank. I've never played the game. I got the idea from my electronics class, dealing with open and closed circuits and electricity. I thought to myself "hmm, this could make an interest game" and voila, you have Sparks.

I made this game in about 15 hours spanning 3 days. I guess the idea popped in my head and I had to make it.

If you'd like to discuss this game with me, then go to www.covertjamboree.com/f

Merry Christmas everyone!

Edit: I fixed the glitch with the final spark. Everything should be fine now. Thanks for the heads up everyone!
It's come to my attention that there is a bug with the score when you get no mistakes. For some reason you get over 2000 points. Oh well, no biggie, but it may be wise to close the game and reload it when you want to start over.
Edit...again: Wow! Front Page! Thanks to everyone for making this game popular!

Simple but challenging.

This is a good, quick puzzle game. I would have lost my mind trying to manage ten of those sparks at once in the final stage, but the carryovers from previous stages always follow the same path. I went through the game three times before succeeding without messing up once. My final score was 3690/2000, as much sense as that makes. o_O

If you're having trouble beating it, keep in mind that every stage introduces only -one- new pattern, and maybe a new bridge or two to click on. By the last stage, you're only clicking 17-18 times to cover every spark's journey. What works once will work every time; hence, it's a memory game really. Set up the stage the same every time -- that way it settles into your memory more easily -- and only change your pattern, slightly, if it doesn't work. Here's a hint for the final stage.

You've got a 4x4 array of bridges, all horizontal at first. As quickly as you can, alter 9 of them. Set them up as follows:

OXOX
OXXO
OXOX
XOXX

Where O is a bridge you leave alone, and X is one you've clicked vertical. This is the first move you should always make, stage 1-10. Maybe it's unnecessary to do this -every- stage, but like I said, it helps cement the pattern into your mind as you head toward the last stage. As the sparks pass through this array you've pre-arranged, you'll only need to mind six of these bridges after that, as multiple sparks cross them. These are, in particular, again marked with X:

OOOX
OOXO
OXXX
XOOO

Only those six will need your attention now, the order of which you can figure out with practice. And that's it!

Good work on this Zyzic... it's a unique game, and I enjoyed it. Thanks for making. ^_^

Wow...

That was crazy. Very creative puzzle, got hard, but I beat it. Ah, am I relieved. I think you should make another version, noly this time, more levels and better graphics. To anybody who has been having a REALLY hard time, try to get the paths down and flip the bridges BEFORE the sparks show up. I'm sure most people are already doing that, but if those sparks didnt move the same path, I'm pretty sure this would be almost impossible.

Electric Fun!

Its all about those re-switches that gets me in trouble. I beat the game, but I only scored 500 points. I learned, through trial and error, the path of every spark and therefore simply set them beforehand.

It was barely possible....

You'd think this would be a puzzle game, but for me at least, it came down to reflexes.

What about something along the lines of herding the sparks into the center, but they can not crash into each other, so the game would take more puzzling elements.

good, but...

Its actually a pretty good game for the type of game it is, but it could be better. The fact that when you advance levels, you it jumps levels really fast. So people don't get to gradually get into the game, they just have to jump from a level 5 boss to a level 100, in a matter of speaking. But the fact that that challenges you to memorize it and not just have to restart from the start when you die is actually rather good.
