Author Comments

I had to add a note to the beginning for the Newgrounds version because too many people ignore the comments. The replay button skips the note after the animation, but how would you know, you don't read the author's comments...
Edit: I added a skip button for you impatient people.

**NOTE: I have full permission to use the Brackenwood characters.

This is my e-card for a contest held by Adam Philllips (the creator of Bitey in Brackenwood).

The contest was for the FUNNIEST Christmas e-card using some kind of characters or themes from Brackenwood in some way.

Happy Holidays!

that was good

the animation was ok. the voice of god should have been more original. different then what it is everywhere else. why? b/cuz i think it would've been cooler if his voice was different...

Why ppl voting only by the title???

I feel this is just a use in Brackenwod name to make a movie pass... not even close to the Brackenwood quality :\
dissapointing

SecretAgentRege responds:

It's actually a contest put on by the creator of Brackenwood to publicize the universe of Brackenwood. How could I publicize Brackenwood without referring to it? Has nothing to do with trying to pass the movie off or not. Learn to read, it was explained in the comments.

So so

I can't fault the artwork but the content wasn't anything special. True, it's a good effort for a few hours work but the joke just wasn't funny....

SecretAgentRege responds:

Jesus was shaking his Christmas gift from his father (aka "God") which was a universe and earth inside the box, which was causing the earthquake. I thought it was clever :) Must not be on-par with British-humor ;)

Atleast you liked the artwork.

Thanks for the review!

Really confusing

I dont understand why the feet told the boy to not shake his gifts. If they were not meant to be shaken, there should be a very visible CAUTION sign on the package, or told him that before hand that way the gift wouldnt of been shaken.

I don't really understand the showing of the earth either. The moon is not connected to the earth it mearly orbit arounds it. It's a satellite of the Earth, not a bump on the earth.

I hope I cleared that up that way your next submission won't be as confusing.

SecretAgentRege responds:

Hmmm... I hope you're kidding, because this review was funny. If not, I'll explain:

The feet don't have opposable thumbs, so, they had to get it gift-wrapped at the mall. Unfortunately, the feet didn't have enough money to add the "DO NOT SHAKE" warning, so they threw caution to the wind, and just got it wrapped.

Also, I separated the moon from the earth for you ;)

PS- why the heck were was the bearded boy and the feet standing on clouds?? You're right, it is confusing!

Bit too random

Bitey and that yellow thing weren't on this flash much. Mainly just Bitey giving a present to that yellow thing, the ground shakes or whatever it was and there was Jesus shaking his present. I think the flash would be a lot better if it concentrated on the Bitey characters and nothing else.

SecretAgentRege responds:

Yeah. It was supposed to be a funny Christmas ecard, with some aspect of Brackenwood. Some people made a kid waiting for Santa, and just put Bitey on a poster, or something like that. I just chose to animate the characters and build a mock set of Brackenwood.
