Yup, this game is a rip-off of Pachisi ('Parcheesy'). It's not my fault. I was led to beleive this was an original game when I started programming it. It'll still be fun though... Play against up to three friends or by yourself.
Parchesi, I think it's called.
This game is virtually Parchessi, (however it's spelled) or Trouble without the "pop-o-matic" bubble. Yep.
unlike the guy before me....
This is a very unoriginal game. I've seen games like this before. "Sorry!" anyone?
So where are they on Newgrounds? I couldn't find a single board game on Newgrounds. Maybe there's a version of Sorry somewhere but I can't find it... but I'll admit, you're right. The game isn't all that original. Good thing I didn't invent it; good thing I mentioned in my comments that it's very similar to Trouble or sorry. Take this issue up with Tweeder's Grampa. However, it's pretty dang difficult these days to invent a game that isn't like anything else ever created. From what I understand, Dirty Marbles is actually closer to Pachisi than Sorry. To be honest, I've never played Sorry, Pachisi, or Dirty Marbles. (Yup I've never even played my own game.)
i don't think i've seen any games on NG that are like this one here, so good job in being original.
Finally, a REAL game.
Just one thing i noticed.. if you squint and step back from the screen, the game board is the shape of a swashtika...
I know, the swashtika thing bothers me too. I dont see it, but another friend mentioned it like the first thing when she saw the game. I assure everyone, it's just a coincidence. If it bothers anyone, I can probably move stuff around. The game won't be as easy to understand, but at least people won't think I'm a Nazi or something.
Hey, I loved it! Well done on making a flash game that's small, enjoyable and actually works as a mulitplayer game.
9/10 man, this rocked!
