December 20th, 2004 Update: Holy shit, first Daily Feature and now front page?! Thank you Tom and Wade, you guys fuckin' rock!

Update: Changed the name of this series to "CT: Fall of Guardia".

Here is part 1 of my new series entitled "Chrono Trigger: The Fall of Guardia". It takes place right after the events of Chrono Trigger. In the playstation version there is an ending showing the fall of Guardia in the year 1005 A.D. but they never explain who did it or how it happened. That's where my story comes in. So as you can tell by the playstation ending, this series will have a really sad ending.

Also included is a trailer to FFVI: The Day After - Part 15, coming this year. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

The Story is great and i have played both versions for the nintendo consoles. I would love it if u would make more of these flashes.
I also have a question.
Do you think that Square Enix will make a sequl for Chron Trigger to tell what happens to everyone after they defeated Lavos and returned to there own times?
I really hope so and if they do i hope it will be for the consoles or the DS.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story! And to answer your question. Square actually did make a sequel to Chrono Trigger entitled "Chrono Cross". It took place 20 years after the events in CT but really had nothing to do with the original game. It was an awesome game in its own right but as a sequel it was somewhat of a disappointment. Anyway thanks for the review!

"Darn good try"

For me at least, this flash was pretty average. The dialogue was brilliant and there was some good effects and timing, but the story was too simplistic for my tastes. Maybe things will develop in the second part. Good try overall, have a generous six stars.
