Loved it...

... I love Transformers. I liked where you were going with this too, you know, it actually had a plot. The classic transition between scenes was a bit too loud. Anyways, this was great man, props to you on this bit of work. Peace...

I gave you a 2.

For a few reasons. The sound quality wasn't good at all and the animations were shoddy. However, I think if you applied yourself to a smoother and more fluid technique it would rock. Keep on progressing.

powermasterprime responds:

Shoddy microphone. And in reference to the animation. This only took me two weeks total work to do so really fluid keyframe animation would kill me, lol.

good effort...

great job with the voices; i wouldn't expect one guy to come so close to so many of the originals.

as far as your art goes - PRACTICE. you need LOTS of work on capturing dimension in your art. don't focus so much on detail next time. and don't hesitate to draw some more frames next time either.

as far as sound effects and music go, try to come up with your own next time; don't just rip sounds from the original series for sound effects or play the movie soundtrack in the background for your music. i'm not saying you necessarily need to personally create your own sound effects or music just for one flash movie, but you could have put a little more effort into those two areas.

powermasterprime responds:

Wow...so you basically say, don't use Transformer music or sfx in a Transformers homage flash movie. Brilliant....absolutely brilliant. I'll just add the Duck Tales theme in there instead of the TF theme for my Transformer movie. Although it would be funny if I were doing a parody. Your critique of this area makes no sense. I did actually put in the Predator theme and a japanese song in there if you didn't notice, so if you wanted originality, no other Transformer flash has those songs. Also, you praised me for the voices, thanks, but if you say that you don't the ORIGINAL sfx and songs why would my impressions of the ORIGINAL voice actors not get your goat? Again...no sense.
As far as my art goes, I thought detail brings dimension to art in the first place. All the time and effort I took replacating almost 15 different transformers by memory and visual guides, side views and front views don't amount to dimension to you? Again, you have no sense. I admit, I'm not a very good animator though.

.......

i only gave 10 for style cos transformers rules but sorry to say this was a poor tribute to the greatness of the original transformers. plus the backgrounds need to be waaaaay more detailed..

powermasterprime responds:

In what way is it poor? Give me some criticism...Why is it so poor that you only give me a 3 out of 10? Please explain, then maybe I'd take your concerns with a grain of salt. Until then...
