I remember when I first watched the Salad Fingers series. This one was the one that stayed with me the most, mainly because of Salad Fingers' reaction to Mable's "mouth words". On the whole, Salad Fingers is just the kind of entertainment I need when I can't be arsed to turn on my PS3 and play Silent Hill.
Well, he doesn't freak out EVERY time. In the first episode, he expresses no reaction to hearing another person speak...the second time, he is simply opposed to the idea of...actually I'm not too sure, he himself didn't seem to fully understand the situation, but it is, anyway, not because he is being spoken to. Here, he seems "freaked out" because Mable (seemingly representing the world) acts in a way that contradicts Salad Fingers' truth, which he is obviously frightened of.
