"Good game, hard and possibly a little buggy."

So I found this to be a very enjoyable game, though even easy mode was rather difficult. After the first stage I was unable to upgrade anything other than phasers, though I had the money for other upgrades. I had wanted to upgrade phaser cooldown and get the next phaser upgrade, however I was unable to purchase the cooldown, or shields (again, having the money to afford them.) and as a result the 6/shot medium phaser was not sufficent alone to survive the next wave with faster birds of prey. Or perhaps I might have survived as fire seemed to be concentrated on my phaser platforms, but suddenly the load screen popped up, with ships still in the background firing at my starbase. The life bar disappeared and when I tried to click the ships through the loadscreen a block of text would pop up telling me to click here if I was having trouble loading. Whenever I clicked the text appeared and wheneber I let go of the button the text disappeared. So I clicked to start an easy game and suddenly the loading screen disappeared and my life bar dropped all at once almost instantly to Zero with only 4 or 5 birds of prey left on the screen.
Also, the music seems out of place.
But still, I like this game, it looks clean and I imagine later levels are even more exciting (with ships and whatnot).
