Yes... while Hiro Shitaku is fictional (means, not real...), the remaining goodness in this "edu-mation" (at over seven minutes long) is accurate, and with a bit of comedy, will explore the history and techniques of the Japanese animation industry. I had a lot of fun making it, and I hope everyone enjoy's watching it!

** Disclaimer: to avoid confusion, Hiro was not a real person. However, all of the techniques discussed in this film were instead created by the industry as a whole to deal with their insane production quotas. Learn, laugh, but please don't take this film 100% seriously. Sorry.

Very Well Done Flash

I myself am an otaku, so I was impressed by your knowledge about anime and where it first started. The only gripe i have about the flash is your pronounciation of the word "manga". While in America its okay to pronounce it like: "MAIN-Ga", the actual sounding of the word is "MAHN-Ga." Other than that I learned about Chibi and Emotion styles. You should start an anime series. Good job.

Amen!

You're right! There was a lot of truth to that despite the disclaimer.
That was very well done and hopefully by watching it, some of the anime n00bies out there can get their facts straight...or as close to straight as possible. Keep it up dude! ^.^
