My first Frame by Frame animation, and my first submission to NG. This was basically just a test, or practice, and has no plot other then people getting blown away.

I'll address the flash itself first

It's definately not bad. Very smooth and well done. He actually had some talent.

But I don't think too much connection should be put between this and the shooting. It's just like when someone is found as a serial killer, their neighbors get on the news saying how they were "always a little bit off". It's just hindsight, picking out the weird stuff and ignoring everything normal. Think of the massive amount of violent flash submitted to Newgrounds every day, and imagine what would happen if an investigation was done on every single submitter.

Like I said before, the guy had talent and created some good stuff. It's not like it matters now, though.

Entry: And M16's to the people!

A country founded on the deaths of millions of Native Americans, a country built on the deaths of innocents. A country forged from a holocaust greater then that of the Jews. Adolf Hitler supposedly killed 6 million innocent Jews in it's death camps and ghettos, Christopher Columbus is responsible for the deaths of over 8 million Native Americans. Which one has his own holiday? On the subject of guns, one day I'll gladly buy my sons (once I have them) assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, rifles, whatever. It's my right as an "American." God bless America, for killing billions of people world wide. Love it or leave it, you've got no choice.

Good style but some technical limitations

The animation is quite good for an amateur short. I liked the black and white effect and the variety of angles used. The sound effects could have been more varied however (gunshot sounds are easy to find on the web) and the walking animation at the beginning needs work. I thought the strongest points were the main character's movements - such as lighting the cigarette - which were very well done as well as the look of the main character (especially the straight line for the eyes - conveys a total lack of emotion).

Its too bad the artist died as he definately had talent.
